COVID-19 Response
Media 3 Ltd. is committed to providing a safe and healthy facility for our staff, clients and guests.
We have developed a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in response to the global health crisis. The Plan follows the film and TV industry guidance developed by the state of New York, available at the Official Website of New York State (www.ny.gov), which is based upon CDC and New York State DOH guidelines, statutes, rules and standards for COVID-19, and New York’s relevant and current executive orders. We have reviewed and incorporated the “Media Production Guidelines for Employers and Employees” industry guidance applicable to our business and provided by the state of New York. Not only have we implemented all Mandatory Requirements under the above mentioned guideline, we have also implemented and exceeded Recommended Best Practices.
Engineering
Our facility’s open-air design provides constant cross-breeze ventilation, bringing the outdoors indoor and limiting air recirculation. The studios are equipped with custom ultra-quiet high-efficiency HVAC systems that filter and exchange 100% of the air every 3 minutes. The technology and design of our control room reduces the number of individuals required to direct and coordinate each production. Our unique BureauCam® Total LiveShot Control technology enables our staff to reliably control broadcast liveshots and live communications remotely, from anywhere.
Prevention
We are performing temperature checks for all individuals entering the facility. Social distancing is implemented and maintained between all staff and clients, as are mandatory face coverings. Guests going on-air may temporarily remove their face covering during hits and rehearsals or when it interferes with hair and makeup. Regular practices of disinfecting have been implemented, including routine cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces, door handles and equipment. We have also implemented teleworking and flexible on-site hours for our staff.
Awareness
Signage is posted in the facility to remind employees and guests of health and safety protocols. Reiteration of and additional communication about the company’s COVID-19 protocols, including any modifications to the Plan, is regularly provided to staff members. Media 3 staff all take an active role and collaborate in carrying out the various aspects of this plan, and in updating the protections, protocols, work-practices and training as necessary.
